What do the relationships of a (good) translator, a (talented) coder, or a (brilliant) advertiser with AI have in common? 👇

Yesterday morning I attended a breakfast hosted by DeepL. One of the most interesting points concerned their hybrid method for training models (humans + machines), which does not simply absorb content found at random, but rests on translations done by professionals, chosen, validated, and folded into a rigorously controlled process.

That approach is what lets them hold the level of precision people expect, especially for scientific translation.

A few days earlier, I had taken part in the Comptoir IA organized by Nicolas Guyon. Two speakers presented their work there: a video-game developer working in vibe coding, and a director of commercials.

Their projects would not have existed without strong human direction. In the first case, AI wrote the code, but it was the human who defined the architecture of the game and steered the machine block by block. In the second, the director guided each sequence of the film artistically, frame by frame, movement by movement.

These three examples illustrate a reality that is increasingly well documented: AI does not replace the work of conceiving. It lets you go faster and explore further, but only if the Human stays with it.

😎 The role of the architects of AI is only beginning.
