Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to all your questions about ResonanceMetrics and GEO.

What is GEO?

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is the equivalent of SEO for conversational AI engines. While SEO aims to position your site in Google results, GEO aims to have your brand cited and recommended in responses from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity.

With 58% of consumers now using AI for product recommendations, being visible in these responses is becoming as important as being visible on Google.

How is this different from traditional SEO?

SEO and GEO share fundamentals (quality content, technical structure), but differ on several points:

  • Objective: SEO aims for ranking in a list. GEO aims to be cited as a reliable source in a conversation.
  • Format: SEO optimizes for snippets and pages. GEO optimizes for complete conversational responses.
  • Measurement: SEO measures positions. GEO measures mentions, sentiment, and citation context.
  • Technical: AI crawlers have different technical requirements (Core Web Vitals, load time, HTML structure).

ResonanceMetrics is designed to address both dimensions simultaneously.

How is ResonanceMetrics different from Peec.ai or Profound?

ResonanceMetrics is the only platform that combines two essential dimensions:

Vs Peec.ai:

  • Peec.ai does pure monitoring — it shows where you are visible
  • ResonanceMetrics adds automation: Brand Intelligence, persona generation, prompt generation, and actionable recommendations
  • We also include technical audits that Peec.ai does not offer

Vs Profound:

  • Profound targets Fortune 1000 with prices starting at $399/month
  • ResonanceMetrics is accessible from €89/month while offering automation features that Profound does not provide
  • Our setup takes 5 minutes vs several hours for Profound

Our key differentiator: GEO = Technical × AI Presence. We are the only ones measuring and optimizing both variables of the equation.

What is the "GEO Score"?

The GEO Score is a composite metric (0-100) that measures your brand's visibility and recommendation rate across AI platforms. It combines mention frequency, citation quality, sentiment, and context relevance.

Daily refresh updates your data every 24 hours automatically. Weekly refresh updates once per week. Daily is recommended for active campaigns, weekly for monitoring.

What happens if I reach my prompt limit?

We notify you before you reach your limit:

  1. At 80%: In-app notification + alert email
  2. At 100%: You can no longer create new prompts

Important: Your existing prompts continue to run normally. No data loss.

  • Delete less priority prompts to free up slots
