🫧 And the conversational bubble became an ecosystem...

Yesterday, at OpenAI Dev Day, Sam Altman and his team presented major new features for GPT.

– ChatGPT can now interact natively with external applications, including Canva and Figma, and bring their interfaces straight into the conversation. – An SDK makes it possible to build entire applications on the GPT engine. – Agent Kits make it possible to create AI agents much more naturally than competitors such as n8n.

Until now, the conversational bubble had formed on its own: users stayed in the chat window because it was convenient. From here on, it is being reinforced in the structure itself. The bubble becomes a platform, an ecosystem, a complete place to get things done — where you search, of course, but also design, create, and act without ever leaving.

The question this raises is GEO. Is it already obsolete? I do not think so. The work of strengthening brand visibility and authority on AI search engines is still essential, but its role is changing. From a central discipline, GEO becomes one lever in a much larger conversational ecosystem, still organic... until its next mutation: monetization, paid search, app store.
