Release notes

Updates appear here shortly after each product release.

  1. Activity dashboard, weekly digest & release notes

    • New Activity page per brand: this week’s discoveries, score moves, pending work, and ops highlights — with a short AI-written summary.
    • Optional weekly email teases what’s new and links straight to that brand’s Activity page (rolled out gradually).
    • Public Release notes page lists what we shipped for customers (from our product changelog).
  2. Tech Audit AI crawlers + stronger Robots/Sitemap

    • New AI crawlers check shows whether major AI bots (ChatGPT search, Claude, Perplexity, training crawlers, and more) are allowed by your robots.txt.
    • Robots & Sitemap now checks real crawl policy: path blocks, sitemap quality, whether the audited page is listed (including sites that split sitemaps), and noindex.
    • Clearer scores and AI-written recommendations per check, in your dashboard language.
  3. Google AI Overviews GEO engine

    • Opt in to Google AI Overviews on prompts (alongside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity) to see whether your brand appears in Google’s AI summary for that query.
    • See when Google did not show an AI Overview (distinct from “brand not mentioned”).
    • Capture the sources Google cited in the Overview, visible in Sources like other engines.
    • Available on entitled plans; off by default so you only spend when you choose AIO prompts.
    • FAQs and marketing pages now describe Google AI Overviews as a live, opt-in engine.
  4. APO dashboard redesign and tracking models

    • See catalogue health, sync status (Shopify / Analytics / analysis), and recent run history in one place.
    • Spot problems early with banners when weekly analysis is stale or coverage drops.
    • Explore products by what matters: fast movers, highest and lowest scores, prompt mentions, AI traffic, and pages with problems.
    • Understand score spread with a full 0–100 distribution (no more “everything looks amber”).
    • Track persona intent over time, with clear 28-day period comparisons.
    • When Google Analytics is connected, view brand-wide traffic (total vs AI-attributed) directly on the product optimization dashboard.
  5. Auth session and GA4 sync reliability

    • More stable sessions — fewer unexpected logouts or failed redirects after sign-in.
    • More reliable Google Analytics sync for large properties — PDP traffic context should finish updating overnight instead of stalling.
